However, with right knowledge on the safety rules and best practices, everyone can differentiate between the wrong and right things — the traps and the necessities. Read this article without skipping any part to know all the important factors that every user must know.
No More Generic Password
People think that, either me or my family uses my phone and thus they use easy to memorize generic password (for example: abc123). But, don’t forget there might be some vulnerable apps in your phone, which can crack down your apps account to rob your bank account. So, always use at least 8 character long and alphanumeric password (for example: @c0!,Yv2^m_).
No More Unofficial Wins
Who doesn’t love to win an iPhone or a free recharge? But, you have to digest this bitter truth that nothing under the sun is free — they can cost your bank balance! Unless you find an offer on a reputed platform like Flipkart, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft etc., DON’T TRUST such offers. Also make sure to double check the link of the page with spelling.
Scammers often call users claiming to be from any reputed service provider, like bank, electricity department, mobile operator etc and threatens the users with some serious issue in their account. Don’t get anxious! Calm down and listen to them and tell them that I’ll contact the official support team and then will take decision. Even if there’s an issue, you must be sure that you are listening that from the official source and for that you need to contact them from your end.
Stop Checking Every Link
Every day we receive tons of SMS, WhatsApp Message, Emails containing link and claiming some offer. Don’t click them! No one is going to send you billion-dollar jack pot over mail. These are ways to push malwares in your phone or computer so that they can track your activities and send them to the cyber attackers silently. So, stop this bad habit.
